Selected clients can upgrade to the new Prime Lite tier right now for $12 per year (999 Indian rupees). This is a more affordable option than the standard Prime membership, which costs $22 annually (or 1499 Indian rupees), or $2.20 monthly. Thanks to OnlyTech

Since 2016, Indian customers have been able to sign up for Amazon Prime. For a while, the price was set at $12 annually; but, in December 2021, the corporation announced a price rise of $18. A Prime membership costs $139 per year or $14.99 monthly in the United States.

Amazon has included the new Prime Lite membership tier in its terms and conditions page and described the benefits of the membership on its Indian website.
