These designs may alter before iOS 16.4 (and iPadOS 16.4) ships in the coming weeks. Emojipedia adds that the peach, troll, and bagel designs have been changed.

After Unicode certified Emoji 15.0 in September 2022, the developer preview gives us a good idea of what’s coming.

The pink, blue, and gray love emojis are highlights. Two novel left and right pushing hand gestures can be used to say “stop” or high five.

The shaking face emoji, which texters will use to say “I’m shook,” is one of the more intriguing additions.

A donkey, moose, swan, jellyfish, and a wing that could be used metaphorically or as an animal are also added.

Hyacinth, pea pod, ginger, folding hand fan, hair pick, flute, maracas, Khanda, and wireless symbols are among the new emoji in food and drink, exercise, objects, and symbols.

Emoji 15.0 will launch on all compatible platforms in early 2023. These emojis are for Apple devices.

Apple’s Developer Program offers iOS 16.4 beta 1 for emoticon play. March or April 2023 should see the ultimate release.
